Fuji FinePix F60fd announced

Fuji introduced three new digital cameras today, with the FinePix F60fd leading the pack. This is essentially an update to the FinePix F50fd, with the notable changes being a larger LCD, auto scene selection, and enhanced face detection. Here are the specs:
  • FinePix F60fd
  • 12.0 effective Megapixel SuperCCD HR sensor
  • F2.8-5.1, 3X optical zoom lens, equivalent to 35 - 105 mm
  • CCD-shift image stabilization
  • 3.0" LCD display with 230,000 pixels
  • Full manual controls; user can take full res shots at ISO 1600, 6MP at ISO 3200, and 3MP at ISO 6400
  • Face Detection 3.0 can detect faces in almost any orientation; automatic redeye removal also available
  • New Scene Recognition (SR) mode automatically picks a scene mode for you
  • Records movies at 640 x 480 (25 frames/second) with sound
  • 25MB onboard memory + xD/SD/SDHC card slot
  • Uses NP-50 lithium-ion battery; 230 shots per charge
  • Ships in September for $299
